NEW is an outstanding example of an intersection between education and fine art printing, placing professionals together with students in an exciting, productive interaction that goes far beyond the usual classroom. Artists of regional, national, and international reputation visit Illinois State University and collaborate with the NEW faculty, staff, and students to produce original limited edition works. NEW is located in the Center for the Visual Arts building on the south side of campus.
Normal Editions Workshop participates in the University’s mission “…to expand the knowledge and culture among students, colleagues, and the general citizenry through teaching, research, and service.” (Illinois State University 2014-2016 Graduate Catalog, page 10)
