Arts Tech Film Fest: Blade Runner
Event Description

The Program in Arts Technology presents the second annual Arts Tech Film Fest at the Normal Theater. This year’s festival will feature five films that explore the complexities of a future populated by humans and their robotic counterparts.
6 p.m.: Multimedia installations and virtual reality demos on display in the theater.
7 p.m.: Showing of Blade Runner: The Final Cut (1982).
In the year 2019, ex-detective Rick Deckard is called out of retirement to track down and eliminate a team of humanoid androids that have escaped from an outer space mining colony and have taken refuge here on Earth. Starring Rutger Hauer and Daryl Hannah and directed by Ridley Scott. Also starring Harrison Ford. This will be the final theatrical showing of Blade Runner before the release of the sequel, Blade Runner 2049, later this year.
Admission $7, $5 for students
