MAD Contest – final presentations
Contestants in the 2017 MAD Contest, sponsored by State Farm, will present their mobile applications to a panel of State Farm IT professionals. The panel will evaluate the mobile apps on the basis of usability, creativity, marketability, complexity, application stickyness, and quality of presentation to select contest winners who will be recognized at the annual Celebrate IT Reception on April 28. The university community is invited to attend and view the presentations.
This year’s finalists are:

“SafeStroll” An application to detect falls and other danger and send auto alert
- Ryan Casey & Sam Jasutis
“Olumpus” An application to manage and distribute fraternity/sorority information
- Dean Schulz
“Class Time,” Application which stores your class schedule and reminds you to start heading to class.
- J.D. LaFayette
“Doc Spot” – An application to connect patients with the best doctors to suit their needs.
- Timothy Field
“FitTogether” An application to find work out partners with like interests

“Time Sink,” The application for enjoyably spending the small amounts of time life gives you

“Digital Icebreaker” An application to locate and meet people with similar interests

“Muse Monitor” An application that interfaces with wearable device to detect and analyze neurological and phisical events
