Event Description

Dr. Dagomar DeGroot, Associate Professor in the Georgetown University Department of History will speak on “The Living Moon:  Observing Lunar Change from the Age of Exploration to the Space Age” at noon on Wednesday, January 19, 2020 in teh Old Main Room of the Bone Student Center.

This seminar is part of the  “Local and Global Environments in Conversation” Spring 2020 International Seminar Series which occurs each Wednesday during the semester.

The seminar series includes experts covering a wide variety of cultural, historical, political, and social topics. This “zero waste” event is open to the public and includes a free buffet lunch.  In addition to the formal presentation, audience members are given time to raise questions to enable two-way  participation and learning.
