Visiting Artist Lecture – Lee Hunter
Lee Hunter (b. Charleston, South Carolina, 1978) is an multi-disciplinary artist working with photography, sculpture, and video. She is interested in the built environment, landscape, and perception. Her work has been exhibited at artist run galleries and non-profit art spaces such as Comfort Station, Vox Populi Gallery, The Luminary, and The Franklin. She has received support to attend a number of artist in residence programs including Summer Forum, ACRE, The Vermont Studio Center, and I-Park Foundation. Hunter received her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She lives and works in New York City.
